FolkWear Sewing Patterns & Templates 129 Editorial Review
**** The Japanese Hapi & Haori Pattern has garnered mixed feedback from customers, reflecting a range of experiences and satisfaction levels. On one hand, the pattern has found favor among those who appreciate the cultural significance of the garments, particularly for events like the annual Obon Fest. Some experienced sewists have found the pattern to be useful and have successfully created garments with it. Positive highlights include appreciation for clear instructions regarding lining and finishing, plus the versatility of the pattern allowing for adjustments. Conversely, numerous reviews point to significant design flaws, particularly concerning sizing and pattern alignment. Many users, including seasoned sewists, have expressed frustration over the fitting issues, noting that the dimensions do not correspond accurately to standard sizes. Additionally, the condition of the pattern upon opening often included problematic wrinkles and unclear cutting lines, which added to the challenges of using it. Comments on the packaging have also raised concerns, particularly regarding incomplete instructions cutting off during packaging. Overall, while some customers found success and joy in using the Japanese Hapi & Haori Pattern, the significant issues highlighted by experienced users suggest that revisions are needed to address sizing and clarity concerns. **
