Embedded Systems Editorial Review
Linux Device Drivers Development is a great book for those who want to write, interact with, and implement drivers in embedded Linux. It is well-written, informative and provides a lot of good information about device tree, pin control system, GPIO, IRQ, I2C client driver and driver writing to catch up developing Linux kernel. The author does a superb job of breaking it down into easily digestible portions to make the learning process smoother. However, the book needs some editing and proofreading, resulting in many typos and grammatical errors. The formatting is poor, and the online kindle viewer has a section that gets narrower and narrower, making it unreadable. Nevertheless, it's worth buying if you want to learn about developing driver in Linux in 2017.
