The flat sheet is longer than the mattress and could be used. However, it is advised to be cautious about the size of the mattress as it only fits between 74”-75”. If you have an odd mattress size, then this product might not work for you. Overall, this product is of good quality and is a great purchase for a standard size cot mattress.
