    responda: Yes, although that may not be needed as the D8 does have a standard water bottle cage bolts on top of the frame that fit something like a King Cage water bottle cage. No Velcro needed unless you want to take it off frequently.

    responda: I put mine on down tube under bike seat. Or angle tube if it will fit.

    responda: Just to be clear, your bottles are 6 inches in diameter? If so, that is huge - could barely hold a bottle that size in my hand and this cage will not work. You would need a milk crate. Did you mean 6 inches in circumference? The bottles I use have a 3' diameter, 10' tall and fit the cage just fine.
