ROLI Seaboard Rise 49 MIDI Controller
The ROLI Seaboard Rise 49 is a versatile keyboard controller with a slight learning curve. It comes with its own software, Equator, which is better for acoustic instruments rather than electronic sounds. It has a sustain input and can be used for live performances if connected to a laptop and an audio box. The keys are not traditional but are a series of protrusions and indentations. The device comes with a lightweight case, but some of the software licenses are not transferable. Overall, the instrument is excellent for both standalone and professional studio use but works more efficiently with Apple products.
