The Terraforming Mars Prelude expansion is a set of 35 new Prelude cards, 5 new Corporation cards, and 7 new project cards that can be added to the base game. The expansion allows players to speed up the game by providing pre-game boosts to players. By using prelude cards, the game could end around gen 6 for 5/6 players, taking just a bit more for 2/3 players, gen 7 or 8.Pre-game cards make the beginning of the game more fun and cover up the slow early game. The expansion is a great addition to the Terraforming Mars board game worth the money. However, the base game is first required to play with this expansion.
