About This Item
Introducing our rare and authentic Trinitite Specimen – a unique piece of history that is perfect for educational and scientific use. This Trinitite specimen was formed during a nuclear test blast, where the intense heat melted sand into a lightly green-tinted glass. Named after the Trinity Bomb testing in New Mexico in 1945, obtaining this rare material is incredibly difficult.
All but a small sample of the material was buried and made illegal to remove from the site in 1952. However, we are a fully compliant dealer who ships our Trinitite specimen following all NRC Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Postal Service regulations, ensuring the safety of our customers.
