    responda: The cap is loose enough on the sides that it shouldn't interfere with earmuff hearing protection. The upper cap portion is more snug. However, it probably could still accommodate the band that goes between the two earmuffs. If you have a significantly larger head than me, then the cap may be a little tight to accommodate the band that goes between the earmuffs along with your head.

    responda: 10 year olds can have a wide variation of head sizes. If you can measure his head, that would be helpful.

    responda: As long as you can set your ponytail high enough to fit it through the back it would work. Might be easier to coral your hair with a beaded angel wing or African hair clip, it’ll hold your hair really well & the cap will fit over it.
