PUR All Water Filtration Editorial Review
The customer reception of this water filter is generally positive. Customers appreciate the fact that the water tastes great and is comparable to bottled water, without the added plastic waste. The long-lasting filter is also a plus for many users. Some customers have encountered issues when installing a new filter, as it is necessary to release a small lever inside the filter for it to properly register the amount of use. This information was not included in the product packaging, leading customers to search online for instructions. Customers also appreciate the convenience of not having to carry heavy cases of water into the house and the cost-saving benefits of using this water filter, especially for those on a fixed income. However, there are a few drawbacks to note. Firstly, some customers have found that the filters do not last as long as advertised, with a lifespan of around 1.5 months instead of the promised 3 months. Additionally, contacting the pur company for any issues or replacements has resulted in poor customer service and a complicated process. It's important to mention that this model does not filter microbes, a fact that is stated on the box but not clearly shown in the product description. Customers have also experienced difficulties when trying to get answers from PUR customer service, including being disconnected and transferred multiple times.
