About This Item
Get ready to take your Arduino projects to the next level with the Sparkfun Spectrum Shield. This powerful shield allows you to split a stereo audio input into 7-bands per channel, giving you full control over the amplitude of each channel using the ADC on your Arduino. With the Spectrum Shield, the possibilities are endless. You can use it to control LEDs, motors, pumps, relays, or any other electronic component - all with sound.

The Spectrum Shield features the MSGEQ7 graphic equalizer display filter, which allows you to split a stereo audio input into 7-bands per channel. The shield is equipped with two 1/8 stereo jacks – one for the stereo input and the other for a pass-through output. This allows you to connect the Spectrum Shield in-line between your audio source and your stereo system without any interruption.
