It contains 2,606 pieces, which can be turned into one of the biggest Lego cranes ever. The set measures 30 inches long, 23 inches high and 8 inches wide. The crane has an extendable boom that reaches up to 30 inches high, and a hook that is motorized and can be raised and lowered. One of the unique advantages of this set is that it is not just a display set but it has excellent movement functions: the outriggers, boom, and hook can all be moved using electric motors. All movements except to the crane's base are electrical but not remote control. You can't drive the crane around like a car, but you can move individual parts of the crane. The set comes with a set of instructions that can be followed even by younger builders, and the pieces are separated into bags, making it easy to build in stages without being overwhelmed. However, it is not recommended for children under eight years old.
