    responda: It cleans your air, adds oxygen, removes CO2 and toxins, and produces natural light at night.

    responda: The Bio-Orb requires moderate to low light, like a house plant.
  • pergunta: What should I do after receiving my Bio-Orb?

    responda: It must be opened within 24 hours of arrival.
  • pergunta: Will the Pyrodinos survive if left in original packaging or wrapped as a gift for a few days?

    responda: The White PyroDino Spout Pouch can be stored unopened for several weeks as long as it remains in a room that receives daily light. Any longer would stress the PyroDinos if wrapped as a gift.
  • pergunta: If I am adding volume with the dinonutrients will I have to continuously dump some out to make room?

    responda: Video could not be loaded.
  • pergunta: If you use a magnetic stirrer keeping it spinning non-stop or just for a while, will it kill the algae?

    responda: Typically spinning the algae at low speed for 20-30 minutes doesn't seem to affect them much but we would not recommend higher speeds or longer durations.
  • pergunta: Do I need to replace the bioluminescent often?

    responda: No. The living bioluminescent PyroDinos (algae) simply grow in the Bio-Orb and do not need to be replaced. Moderate light during daytime hours is important. Do not add tap water or place in direct sunlight.
  • pergunta: How much light is required? I live in Alaska, summer we have about 5 hours darkness/winter 5 hours of light. Will they be ok?

    responda: Only 5 hours of darkness will not be an issue but the wintertime darkness will require supplemental artificial lighting. PyroDinos should get at least 8 hours of lighting daily.
  • pergunta: What size of stand should I get for it to reg sized orb?

    responda: Both Bio-Orbs have a flat bottom so no stand is necessary. There is an Octopus Stand available for the standard (4inch) Bio-Orb.
  • pergunta: Could I use the algae in this orb for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums?

    responda: The algae in the Bio-Orb will only survive in a saltwater aquarium. You may filter and then rinse the dinoflagellates with freshwater to feed to freshwater fish.
  • pergunta: Will they handle cold, really cold shipping conditions? It has been as cold as negative 43 f here with the wind

    responda: Temperatures below the freezing point provide a high probability of failure. We usually hold orders to regions in freezing temperatures. However, we cannot hold orders from our partners. Bottom line - wait until Spring.
  • pergunta: Lo puedo añadir a mi acuario marino? ¿O solo vive en eso?
