The MIDITECH garagekey mini37 MIDI Keyboard is a simple and affordable option for light music work and easy to use on a dining table. It has a 37-key range, no hold pedals, vendors, or modulations, and only one octave shift button on the back. The keyboard is slightly solid and not suitable for delicate Forte piano expressions. However, it's wide enough to play cords and melodies. The bundled source software is not particularly useful and must be prepared separately. It's the cheapest keyboard of its kind, making it easily transportable without worry about breaking it.
