Resposta: Yes. They are attached with a small metal split ring so easily removed. The I.D. tags also have split rings so easily attached as well.

Resposta: I would not attach a lead to this collar as it springs loose for safety if pressure applied. If you want to put a lead on your cat I suggest you buy a harness which has the appropriate lead attachment on the center of the harness and not on the collar around the cat's neck.

Resposta: Not that I’ve experienced to date, really good value for money especially if like mine your cats seem to take them off and hide them somewhere!
